Meet Biren Patel, DMD
Personal message from Dr. Biren Patel
"I am Dr. Biren and I am very excited to be the new owner of the dental practice of Dr. Theodore Nelson. I feel very fortunate to be establishing myself in the wonderful town of Lancaster, and am excited to become an active part of the community!
My goal is to provide our patients with honest, high-quality dentistry, in a calm, gentle and pain-free manner. I treat my patients as if they are family members, and always present them with all treatment options for any dental concerns that may arise. I look forward to establishing new relationships with the current patients of the practice, and welcome anyone else who is looking for a new dentist!”
Dr. Biren (pronounced “Bee-ren”) grew up in Marlborough just a few miles away from our office. Dr. Biren graduated from University of Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology, with a minor in Molecular Cell Biology. Dr. Biren then went on to attend Tufts School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree and has been working in the central Massachuetts since then.
Dr. Biren strives for clinical excellence and actively participates in continuing education programs to keep himself updated on the most current research, techniques, and equipment. He has received training to become a certified Invisalign provider and on track to complete his fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry. He enjoys staying active in the dental community as the Treasurer of the Massachusetts Comprehensive Dentistry Study Club and maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Biren enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter, and traveling together when possible. He is an avid New England sports fan who loves to watch games with friends and family. He also enjoys trying new restaurants and lowering his golf handicap.
